Aidea Recognized in BCI Asia Top 10 Awards 2008
Aidea Philippines Inc. makes it to the list of the BCI Asia Top 10 Awards 2008. The BCI
(Building and Construction Interchange) Asia Top 10 Awards provides an overview of
architectural firms designing the greatest volume of buildings in seven regional
markets of Asia. It aims to encourage the leading firms to strive for the creation
of socially responsible architecture. From inception, the Top 10 Awards were among
the most coveted prizes in architecture in Asia.
The BCI Asia Top 10 Awards 2008 recognize architectural firms and design institutes in
eight key Asian markets making the greatest contribution to the built environment this
year. Winning firms were objectively identified by BCI Asia according to the aggregate
value of their projects under design or breaking ground in 2007. BCI Asia's researchers
interviewed a quarter of a million architects and other building professionals while
compiling the data for these awards.
Among Aidea's key 2007 projects that won them the award were Procter & Gamble (P&G)
offices in Europe, the Middle East, China and the Globe Telecom Headquarters in the
Philippines. Aidea provided the architectural, interior design, planning and graphic
environments and other related services of these projects. For the Globe Telecom
Headquarters, Aidea was commissioned to render full architectural design services
including space programming.
